35 Select 2026-2027 Season Plan:

• Players born between 7/31/2014 - 8/1/2008 (US Soccer Age Group update this season)
• Mid November 2026 - Mid May 2027
• Estimated 40 practices
• Winter Games: 2-3 games depending on age group
• 4-5 Events (Tournament/Showcase depending on age group)
• 2-3 of those events require travel/hotel arrangements including 1-2 flight distance events
• College Info Night (U15+ ages)
• College ID Camp (U16+ ages)
• Training Locations: Shattuck St. Mary's School, Spring Creek Soccer Fields, Webster Soccer Fields, and other regional facilities as needed
• Will put every effort into fielding teams by specific age group, however we may combine some age groups depending on the number of players.

Fee Breakdown:

• $280 Commitment Fee (Admin Fee) (by 8/16)
• $1,450 Team Operations Payment (9/1) or Monthly Payment Plan at $322/month (Sept 2026 - Jan 2027)
• Uniform + training package for NEW players is $270 estimate
• Training kit package for RETURNING players is $70 estimate
• 35 Select will cover Playmetrics processing fees next season

Evaluation Process and 35 Select Summer Camp

Player Evaluation Process:

1. Attend Summer Camp (removing formal tryout day)
2. If unavailable, then fill out Player Interest Form (highlighted below). Priority will be given to those that attend Summer Camp and/or participated in 35 Select last year.

We’re excited to announce our annual 35 Select Summer Camp—and this year brings an exciting update!

New for 2026: We’ve removed the formal tryout process. Players interested in the 2026–2027 season will now be evaluated during camp in a more natural, development-focused environment. Not interested in joining a 35 Select team? No problem—this camp is built to help all players prepare for the upcoming high school and club seasons.

Dates: July 29 – August 1, 2026

Location: Spring Creek Soccer Fields (Northfield, MN)

Times:

• U9–U12: 9:00–10:30 AM
• U13–U18: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM

Eligibility: Players born 7/31/2018 – 8/1/2008

Cost: $150 (includes camp T-shirt)

• Optional 35 Select Team Evaluation (2026–2027 season)
• High-level training from experienced staff
• Technical, tactical, and game-focused sessions
• Goalkeeper training included, led by Paul O’Connor (former English professional)\
• Former clubs include Leicester, Leicester City, Hartlepool United, Blyth Spartans, Bedlington Terriers
• Focus on technical precision, high reps, and pro-level insight
• Ideal prep for high school & club tryouts

Upcoming US Soccer Birthyear Changes:

USYS, AYSO, and US Club Soccer have announced that beginning in August, with the 2026-27 season, all youth programs will transition to a seasonal age group calendar running August 1 - July 31.

We planned for many of our teams to shift given the multiple age groups within each team, but this will definitely play a part in how we form teams next season.
