Waseca Soccer Club Volunteer Agreement
The Waseca Soccer Club is an all-volunteer program. It is the expectation of the Club that parents will be actively involved in their child's playing experience. Failure to obtain sufficient volunteers may force the Club to reduce the number of teams and/or return registrations.
A Volunteer Program has been adopted by the Waseca Soccer Club Board to ensure we can continue to offer programs for all members.
All families who have (9U-18U) players in the Waseca Soccer Club are required to complete 5 volunteer hours during the calendar year. This requirement is based on spring/summer participation.
Families with players in the rec program are not required to volunteer but are encouraged to join in.
Families who do not fulfill the 5 hour volunteer commitment for the current calendar year will be billed $10/hour or $50.00. If you choose to not volunteer please plan to pay the $50.00 volunteer fee during spring registration.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles during the year. The more volunteers we have the easier it is for everyone!
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities, including but not limited to:
- Board Members
- Coaches
- Team Parents
- Field Preparation and Maintenance
- Announcers at Fall School Matches
- Fall School Admissions
- Fundraisers (Steak Fry, Burger Fry, Pizza Ranch etc.)
- Winter Indoor Soccer League assistance
- Each car wash card sold one volunteer hour credit is granted.
